My name is Indra Fortney, I am an allied member of ASID (American association of Interior Designers) and I have been working in the field of design since 1994. In that time I have worked on over 500 projects, residential homes as well as a number of wineries, restaurants and hotels.
In 2000 I founded and ran my own company, La Vie Belle Interiors, a retail store located in downtown Napa with full Interior Design services and a staff of three employees. I went on buying trips through out Europe and Asia for the stores selective inventory. The business was featured in a number of magazine and newspaper articles (see below).
Fortney Design was developed when I moved to Finland; we offer Interior Design services as well as Home Staging services. Home Staging utilizes design techniques to show a clients property to its best potential resulting in quicker sales with higher profit margins. Coming from the States where this technique is widely used I bring years of experience working on these types of projects.
Our Interior Design approach reflects the lifestyle of the client, creating a welcoming home that provides both comfort and inspiration. Fortney Design has a unique flair for International design, combining elements of European and Asian design, a fusion of both contemporary and traditional styles.
